What am I purchasing?

You are collecting an ownership slot in a conceptual digital project. Ownership represents your recorded place in the project registry and your contribution to the work's history.

Does ownership give me exclusive access?

No. Projects may remain publicly accessible. Ownership is about official provenance and collecting a recorded slot, not restricting public access to the experience.

Do I receive a certificate of ownership?

Yes. Upon a successful collection, you will receive an official PDF Ownership Certificate. This document serves as your personal record of the acquisition.

Can I resell my ownership slot?

Resale infrastructure is intended to be activated only for projects that are 100% collected (5/5 slots). This ensures the primary collection phase is complete before a secondary market opens.

Is there a resale or transfer fee?

Yes. To maintain the registry and support the creator, a 20% service fee (minimum $20) applies to all ownership transfers and future resale transactions.

Where will my name appear?

Your collector name is displayed directly within the project (typically in the footer). It becomes a permanent part of the digital work's official registry.

Can I change my collector name later?

No. The name provided at checkout is considered a permanent part of the project's history. It can only be updated through an official ownership transfer (subject to a fee).

Do I own the code or intellectual property?

No. You do not own the code, brand, or business assets. The project remains under full control of the creator. Ownership is conceptual and collectible only.

Is this an investment?

No. These are digital art projects. There is no guarantee of future value, profit, or liquidity. Collect because you value the concept.

Terms

1. Nature of Ownership. Each project is a conceptual digital work. Ownership is a collectible record in this website's registry and does not grant equity, shares, or financial rights.

2. Official Registry & Certification. The registry on absurd.website is the sole authoritative record of ownership. Collectors are issued a digital PDF certificate as a record, but the website registry remains the final proof of status for any future transfers.

3. Public Access & Physical Works. Projects may remain public. The creator retains all rights to create, exhibit, or sell physical versions or installations of the work separately.

4. Transfers & Resale. Transfers are processed manually at launch. A resale market may be introduced later, but only for projects that have reached "Sold Out" status (5/5 slots). Resale prices must not be lower than the most recent recorded purchase price of that slot.

5. Fees & Royalties. A 20% fee (min. $20) applies to all transfers and resale transactions. This acts as a royalty to the creator and a service fee.

6. Collector Conduct & Names. Collector names are permanent and cannot be changed after purchase. Names must be plain text (max 25 chars), non-commercial, and respectful. The platform reserves the right to moderate names that violate these guidelines.

7. No Project Control. Ownership does not grant any decision-making power over the project’s content, code, or future direction.

8. Platform Authority. The platform reserves the right to update pricing, system rules, and ownership structures to ensure the project's long-term viability.
